Privacy Policy
Fit Card is designed with your privacy in mind. Your workout and health data stays on your device, and the app reads from Apple Health only — it never writes your data and does not send it to external servers.
Information We Access
To build shareable cards, Fit Card may access the following on your device, only with your permission:
- Apple Health workouts — workout type, duration, distance, calories, heart rate, steps, and related metrics, plus workout route data for map backgrounds.
- Photo library — only the photos you choose to use as a card background.
- Apple Music — album and song artwork (via MusicKit) when you select an artwork background. Requires an Apple Music subscription.
- Location — used to render a route or current-location map background and to reverse-geocode a workout’s location label.
- Notifications — if enabled, a local notification to prompt you to share when a workout finishes.
How We Use Your Data
- Local Processing: Everything happens on your device. Cards are generated locally and exported as images you choose to save or share.
- Read-Only Health Access: Fit Card reads from Apple Health and never writes to it. Your workouts stay on your device.
- No External Servers: Your health, photo, music, and location data is not uploaded, stored, or processed on any server controlled by us.
Information We Do Not Collect
The Fit Card app does not collect or store:
- Names or email addresses
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Any data beyond what is needed to build a card on your device
Your Data Stays Private
- All health data accessed from Apple Health remains on your device.
- Photos, artwork, and location are used only to render the card you are creating.
- Cards you export are saved or shared only where you choose to send them.
- You can revoke Health, Photos, Music, Location, or Notification access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
